In order to help students plan their career development direction and cultivate their comprehensive qualities, on the afternoon of September 25, 2018, the Northeast Asia International Education Forum and China-Korea International Education Exchange Conference were held in the grand hall of our college. Dr. Liang Bicheng gave a lecture entitled "Your Dream, the Chinese Dream, the World Dream". Dr. Liang is a Ph.D. in Chinese history in UCLA, chairman of CKT Group, chairman of Dongmei Investment Company, part-time professor at Tsinghua University, visiting professor at New York University South Korea, and reserve candidate for the National Party of the 2017 Korean presidential election, Jilin City College International Department Executive Dean of SJ International College in Northeast Asia (South Korea, Japan, Singapore).
Standing member of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, executive chairman of the China Shandong Entrepreneurs' Association, winner of the National May 1st Labor Medal, winner of the China Charity Outstanding Contribution Award, chairman of the SJ International Education Group, and Excutive Dean of the SJ International College of Dongyang University, Sun Jin attended the meeting and delivered an important speech.
The earliest connection between Dr. Liang and China was not due to business, but to the vast and long history of China. He graduated from the Chinese Department of Korea University when he was young, and after receiving a Ph.D. in Chinese History from the University of California, Los Angeles, he went to Jianguo University to teach modern Chinese history. Before stepping into the business world, he was already an excellent expert in the study of modern Chinese history.
After entering the business world, with many years of understanding of Chinese history and culture, Dr. Liang began to lead CKT Development Co., Ltd. to develop the "Chinatown" project in South Korea, and then participated in real estate projects in Qingdao and Suzhou. According to Dr. Liang, real estate is only an inevitable product of China's rapid economic development stage. However, as China's economic growth slows in the next stage, future business opportunities in China will be in the health industry, the US industry, and the large consumer industry. Industries related to China ’s population advantage and domestic demand policies. Dr. Liang is a "Confucian Merchant" who has been immersed in Chinese Confucian culture for many years.
In his speech, Dr. Liang said: Today, we can see the three characters of "Chinese Dream" anywhere in China. Now the Chinese no longer need to work hard for the food necessary for survival, but pay more attention to their future. They want to know what they need to have in the future and what they need to do for the future. However, dreams are not enough for the future. We need to work hard for it, but we must make preparations for it. It is necessary for everyone to prepare for the future. Therefore, we must have our own vision for the future.
The vision is to help everyone prepare for the future and how the vision should be realized. For your own vision, the most important thing is to work hard to understand what kind of world everyone lives in, where you are and who you are. But more importantly, it is necessary to go beyond the environment that surrounds everyone on the surface, so as to have abstract factors. Therefore, everyone should discover their own Chinese dream, otherwise they will not have their own vision.
I was in UCLA in the United States, at the University of California, Los Angeles. While I was studying Chinese history, I read a book called "Money, Sex, and Power", that is, money, sex, and power. This is a book about feminism. In fact, at present I can't remember the content of that book, but the title of that book is still fresh in my mind. In fact, these three things, namely money, sex and power, vividly show that people want to have it. People anywhere in the world, whether before or now, work hard to get these three points, or steal from others. These three points are the root cause of people's greed, and eventually produce ugly things.
Some people pursue power, some people pursue money, and some people pursue sex. Most people want to have all three of these at the same time. It's just that their respective levels and proportions of hope are different. However, people who have one, two, or all of these three points are not only respected because they have these three points. I have been teaching history at Jianguo University in Korea, through various social activities dedicated to safeguarding the human rights of overseas Chinese, through engaging in commercial real estate, engaging in beauty careers, etc., through different career paths for several years, I found that I have money or power around me, Or people who have both, but are not satisfied with the life they have, how sad it is!
Dr. Liang said that the concept of vision is very personal, but the vision is also social. Today, it is still global. The more important vision must be strategic, and planning is needed to realize the vision. Where possible, the vision requires partners to work together to achieve. The best partner is your girlfriend or wife, I think the comrades in Chinese words are very appropriate. In Chinese history, especially in the history of Chinese revolution, there are many revolutionary couples. Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao are the best examples. They have a common vision and fight together for their achievements. Of course, friends or classmates can also become comrades. In your student career, you may be able to find your comrades in one learning task. They may share your vision with you in your future and work together for the vision.
To create your vision, I suggest that you read as much as you can and travel more. Reading is the best way to formulate a vision, especially reading history books. Through history, we can see the changes and continuity of the times at the same time. When doing your own business, you will also understand the problem from the perspective of change and sustainability. Especially when analyzing the future, risks and opportunities of the project, try to analyze from the perspective of change and sustainability. In fact, studying history has provided great help to my career. Although the vision is for the future, it can be better understood from the present and the past. Finally, the vision is the basis for mastering the changes and continuity of the past and present, so your vision is naturally profound and ambitious. In other words, your vision is historic and international. The self-centered vision can only be said to be pure dreams and fantasy.
When I returned to Korea after studying in the US for ten years, my vision was more important than salary and other things. At that time, my vision was to teach Korean students and people the history of China, especially the history of Chinese revolution. Today, Chinese studies in South Korea are very active, and almost every day a new book about China is coming out. I think I have made a certain contribution to South Korea's research on China's development, especially before the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Dr. Liang said that beauty is a culture and a science. At present, the western-oriented aesthetics dominate the oriental cosmetic industry and medical plastic surgery, and the oriental beauty culture has a long history and tradition. I hope to promote oriental beauty through scientific methods and direct methods, and help oriental people establish the beauty of the east. Self-confidence and recognition. This is also part of my globalization work.
My life and career path are completely different from my original plan. I help Koreans to have a better understanding of China. However, there is some continuity between my career and my entrepreneurial career. My vision is to make Korea an open society. In teaching Chinese history and the history of Chinese revolution, I pursue the realization of this vision, and I will continue to pursue making Korean society more open and diverse.
In the process of chasing my dreams, I gradually realized that South Korea needs to be more open. World globalization South Korea cannot be avoided; in other words, it started with the trend of world scale change since the 17th century, developed rapidly in the 19th century, and finally formed an important part of the 21st century.
Currently, 100 million people travel and shop in China every year. Traveling on the go has become a trend, including overseas travel. However, globalization does not mean just going out, but requires social pluralism. Specifically, you must respect the culture and views of others. In this regard, I would like to quote Confucius: "Harmony is different." Openness is to recognize diversity. Without diversity, globalization cannot be achieved. Therefore, openness and diversity are the dual faces of globalization.
Openness is a factor of globalization and an inevitable thing in today ’s world. Although the Korean economy has relied on exports and its culture has been influenced by foreign cultures, especially American culture, Korean society has not yet experienced globalization. In order to open and diversify South Korea, and thus make the world more open and diversified, I chose to study Chinese history and teach. In my career as an entrepreneur, I strive to keep openness and diversity sustainable. At the same time, to a great extent, Chinese knowledge, especially Chinese history, has greatly contributed to the success of my career.
According to my own opinion, there are two most open eras in Chinese history, namely the Spring and Autumn Period before Qin Shihuang unified China and the Tang Dynasty after Qin Shihuang. In the Spring and Autumn Period, the contention among hundreds of schools was a phenomenon of pluralistic society; in the Tang Dynasty, it embodies the coexistence of national culture and symbolizes the possibility of the development of a pluralistic society. It is a pity that during the Qin and Han Dynasties, the tradition of controversy among the hundred schools became weaker and weaker. Under the influence of the Chinese thought in the Song Dynasty, the openness and diversity since the Tang Dynasty have become weaker and weaker.
After years of hard work, South Korea finally ushered in the green card system. After that, the "Hanhua" people benefited greatly from it. Today, they are treated equally. South Korea now has not only a green card system, but also a dual nationality system. This year, I held the 11th "Eating Jjangmyeon Festival", a Korean version of Jjjangmyeon, which is different from what we have in China, and is a little sweeter than Chinese Jjjangmyeon. In fact, Koreans like it like kimchi. Until Korean children still like to eat fried noodles with hamburger and pizza. In spring, the "Hanhua" ethnic group will make noodles and share them with other ethnic groups.
Eating fried noodles has become a part of ordinary people's daily life. Why is jajangmyeon? Because it symbolizes the viability of the extraordinary Korean Chinese. In fact, many Korean Chinese open Chinese restaurants to provide Korean noodles with soy sauce, which provides a major source of income for their children to go to college and overseas education. The success of the "Hanwha" nation has benefited from the sale of fried noodles to Koreans. Therefore, they say that the noodles are the basis of their survival in South Korea. Now, more than 2% of the population in South Korea is ethnic minorities, and many groups of ethnic minorities live with Chinese. It is my green card system that contributes a little bit to make Korean diversity possible. By sharing the noodles, different ethnic groups respect the survival of the "Hanhua" nation and express their vision to make Korean society more open and diverse.
Your vision may or may not be realized. However, it does not matter. The vision itself has nothing to do with success or failure. In this case, I want to discuss the concept of so-called influence. The concept of influence does not directly cause change, it does not involve direct or tangible forces. The impact is difficult to measure. Of course, power and money make the world different, and political leaders and big entrepreneurs can change the world through power and money. But what I said affects more is the idea of changing the world we live in. Therefore, the influence is not the ability to have hard power, but a kind of soft power. Power and money may be just a tool for changing the world, but the impact is the true ability to change the world. Power and money are used to measure success and failure, but the impact is not. The impact has nothing to do with the results of human actions.
Here I give an example to illustrate the concept of influence. A few years ago, Time Weekly chose the singer Beyonce as the most influential person of the year. She is rich, but it is not beneficial to change the world. Strictly speaking, she has no power. She has a lot of popular songs, but the real reason for choosing her is her influence on the status of women. Whether on or off the stage, she strives for women's independence and leads the world. Her long-term serious work, honest life and real works have made her have a great influence on men and women all over the world. In fact, her popularity is not enough to influence people. In this context, her popularity is not enough to have a certain impact, and her all-round words and deeds are her greatest influence.
Starting from 2004, Time Weekly will select the 100 most influential people every year. Candidates include entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, activists, thinkers, etc. Prior to this, Time Magazine in 1999 selected the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. Among them, Einstein topped the list. The magazine explained why Einstein was chosen not only because he was a symbol of the scientific community, but also because he was an outspoken anti-Nazi fascist.
Influence and vision have nothing to do with success or failure. If you want to make the world different from the present, you must have your own vision. Realize it, whether you succeed or not, you will also influence the world. Today is the beginning of the creation of your vision, because the establishment of your vision may be the beginning of your influence on the world. Finally, remember that your vision and influence, regardless of size, will make the world different.

Chairman Sun Jin said that Dr. Liang Bicheng loves Chinese students very much. In the past 20 years, he has visited Yanbian and Hunchun in our province many times. He currently has many cooperations with Tsinghua University. Dr. Liang is also an adjunct professor at Tsinghua University. There are many Chinese friends in South Korea, and they have made great contributions to Chinese friends. Dr. Liang has several projects in Indonesia, China and Africa. Dr. Liang told us that my dream, the Chinese dream, and the world dream are in line with the Chinese dream mentioned by our Xi Secretary. Dr. Liang also mentioned the benefits of reform and opening up to China. In order for us to further reform and open up in the future, Secretary Xi has made many instructions on China's reform and opening up, pointing out the course for China's future development!
In the forum, Predident Sun Jin talked about artificial intelligence education ushering in greater benefits and innovations for future education. The important direction of artificial intelligence education is to provide supplementary education according to the different states of students. The impact of artificial intelligence education on future education can be explained in three words: 1. Liberation liberates the teacher from busy work; 2. To release, to release the passion of teachers and to release the creative platform; 3. Open, open source co-creation, open source sharing platform. The education of the future is open co-creation and wisdom symbiosis. Traditional education revolves around teaching materials with teachers as the center.
